When considering the Zadokite Priestly Calendar many get confused because of the equinox dates. The Priestly calendar is based off the sun, moon, and stars as Genesis says and not the equinox.
These are all signs that follow the Priestly Courses.
The Priestly calendar is set by weeks of unbroken 7's. 7 days in a week- 7 weeks in a sabbath year- 7x7 weeks then the jubilee- 52 weeks in a year -13 weeks in a season-294 years in 6 jubilee cycles-every cycle is counted by 7's.
When looking at the dates from the pasted 6 years of unbroken priestly courses we can clearly see the equinox was not the determining factor for starting the year. The evidence from the Dead Sea Scrolls shows they did not break the 6-year priestly rotation to start every year because of the equinox date nor was the equinox in the fall considered for determining the start of the New Year.
2019 New Year of the 1st priestly rotation - March 20th / Trumpets Sept. 18th
2020 New Year of the 2nd priestly rotation- March 18th/ Trumpets Sept. 16th
2021 New Year of the 3rd priestly rotation- March 17th/ Trumpets sept. 15th
2022 New Year of the 4th priestly rotation- March 16th/ Trumpets Sept. 14th
2023 New Year of the 5th priestly rotation- March 15th/ Trumpets Sept. 13th
2024 New Year of the 6th priestly rotation- March 13th/ Trumpets Sept. 11th
2025 New Year starting over with the 1st year of the priestly rotation on March 12 a week is added to the 19th and Trumpets Sept. 17th
We have a straight 364-day year or 52 weeks for 6 years straight with an unbroken 7's count for weeks and an unbroken 6-year priestly courses that rotate within the 7 days for sabbaths - 7 weeks of sabbatical years - within the jubilee years for a 294-year cycle all beginning with the 1st priestly cycle of Gamul and ending with Gamul to start the cycle over again.
I would like to point out that each year the date for starting the 7th month/Trumpets will point you to the next New Year date in March proving a 364-day year. The 6th year start date in the 7th month will also witness to the next 1st years need for the added week to realign closer to the equinox or creation week but not set by the equinox date. Always staying with the unbroken priestly order.
