Comparing the DSS, Enoch, Jubilees and the true 4th Portal.

In Jubilees 5 we are given the account of the flood. In chapter 6:14 Noah and his sons were given the sign of the rainbow and the celebration of the festival of weeks for a renewed covenant that was celebrated in heaven.

verse 21-30 We are given the 4 festival days of remembrance divided into 13 weeks each for each quarter making it 52 weeks to complete the year.

verse 31 There is no neglecting this command for a single year.

verse 32 observe the years according to this reckoning: 364 Days and these (364 days) shall constitute a complete year and shall not disturb its time from its days and from its festivals; for all (the festivals) shall fallout in them (the 364 days) according to their witness, and they shall not leave out any day nor disturb and festivals.

verse 33 But if they neglect and do not observe them according to His command, then they shall disturb all their seasons, and years shall be dislodged from this order, and they shall neglect their laws.

verse 34 And all the children of Israel shall forget, and shall not find the path of the years, and shall forget the new moon, and seasons, and Shabbats, and go astray as to all the order of years.

verse 35 The tablets of the shamayin the division of days is ordained, lest they forget the Festivals of the Covenant (division of days) and walk according to the Festivals of the Gentiles. For there shall be those who shall make observations of the moon, how it disturbs the seasons and comes in year to year 10 days to soon.

verse 38 after your death your children shall confuse them so that they shall not make the year 364 only and go astray as to the new moon and Shabbats and Festivals.

This whole chapter hinges on the festivals within the 364-day year. With a warning to keep all the festivals within 364 days.

Followed by another warning against following the Moon (lunar calendar) that comes out 10 days a year to soon therefore every year you will be behind 10 more days. Following the command to make sure you have 364 days so that the years is divided evenly by 7's without coming up short 10 days by observing the moon. If the year is not divided correctly with the 4 Remembrance Days as dividers for the seasons you go astray and disrupt the years.

Enoch 75:1 And owing to them men go wrong therein, for those luminaries truly render service on the world stations, one in the 1st portal, one in the 3rd portal, one in the 4th portal, and one in the 6th portal, and the year is accomplished through its separate 364 stations.

Enoch 75:2 For the signs and the times and the years and the days the angel Uriel showed to me, Whom the El of glory hath set forever over all the luminaries of the heaven, in heaven and in the world, that they should rule on the face of heaven and be seen on earth, and be leaders for the day and the night, that is the sun, moon, and stars. Here Enoch is in agreement with Genesis 1:16.

We can see these are not Commands against the moons part in the calendar but a command against using it wrongly to set your Festivals by.

Genesis 1:15 Yah made the two great lights for signs to divide the day from the night and for seasons, for days, and for years. Enoch also witnesses to the moon being the smaller luminary in chapters 73 and 74.

The sun, moon, and stars were created on the 4th day for the calendar. If we leave one out the calendar is incomplete. If we change the assigned order, we disrupt the seasons and years as Jubilees is showing us by following the moon instead of the sun for days.

So, what is the Moon's Role in the calendar?

In Leviticus 23:4 we are told to keep the feast in their seasons. Knowing that Yah's calendar is a seasonal calendar and Jubilees says not to disrupt the seasons as Leviticus states we can begin to put the pieces from the DSS together more fully.

In the DSS they took the time to record the moon cycles for a reason. We know that the Zadokite Priest followed the Remembrance Days listed in the book of Jubilees, and the Sabbaths of 52 weeks which kept all the festivals within the 364 days commanded in Jubilees. We see they went 6 straight years without disrupting the 364 days and keeping the Priestly Rotation undisturbed. After 6 years we can see they are 7 days behind what we call the spring season. In order to stay in season, as Jubilees and Leviticus say, a compete week of 7 day has to be added as to not break the command to work 6 days and keep the Sabbath on the 7th day. No where in scriptures, Enoch, DSS, or Jubilees do we find a command to have a day out of time or an additional divider day.

In the book of Enoch chapters 72-74 we find the course of the sun and the moon for a one-year cycle, listing the portals that each one enters at different times of the year. Enoch's portals are also based off the 364 day-13 weeks with 4 seasonal dividers.

Enoch 72:6 In the 1st month of the year the sun rises in the great portal, which is the 4th portal.

Enoch 74:5 In two portals the moon sets with the sun. In those two which are in the middle, in the 3rd and the 4th portals.

Enoch 73:7 And she (the moon) sets with the sun, and when the sun rises the moon rises with him and receives the half of one part of light, and in that night in the beginning of her morning the moon sets with the sun and is invisible that night.

Enoch 78:13 She becomes full moon exactly on the day when the sun sets in the west, and from the east she rises at night, and the moon shines the whole night through till the sun rises over against her and the moon is seen over against the sun.

Enoch is telling us these are the two times the sun and moon set together. Full moon and new dark moon.

In some translations of Enoch74:12 it says the sun and stars bring in all the years. Then verse 17 says, And the year is accurately complete in conformity with THEIR world stations and the stations of the sun, which rise from the portals through which it (the sun) rises and sets 30 days. Notice: it says Their world stations and the stations of the sun! It's missing what is already stated in Enoch 75:3 the sun, moon, and stars

In other translations it says the moon brings in all the years, exactly, that their stations may come neither too forwards nor too backwards a single day; but that the years may be changed with correct precision in 364 days. The year then becomes truly complete according to the station of the moons, and the station of the sun; which rise in the different gates; which rise and set in them for thirty days.

With the witness of Enoch and Genesis of the sun, moon, and stars being the calendar and Enoch telling us that the moon setting with the sun marks the 4th portal. I would have to agree with the translation stating the moon being a sign of the 4th portal.

When looking at Enoch 74:5 that says, the moon sets with the sun in the two middle portals, the 3rd and the 4th we can see this is a witness of only one year and based on the 3-year triennial cycle from the DSS book of Enoch because it is impossible for the moon to set with the sun every year in the 4th portal because it falls behind 10 days a year.

This verse is also a witness against the sun crossing the vertical measurement of the equinox as being the sign of the 4th portal, not having the full moon set with the sun at every equinox.

This is not teaching to follow the moon for setting your calendar. It is a sign (ot') created by Yah himself at creation on the 4th day of the week along with the sign of the sun for days. This sign is only controlled by Yah himself and needs no man to mark an equinox line every year. Everyone can see the full moon rise in the east as the sun sets in the west marking a straight line from east to west when the 3rd year moon cycle comes back around into line with the sun cycle and the spring season.

According to the DSS Astronomical Book of Enoch the Zadokite Priest recorded a 3-year cycle of the moon through the portals using a triennial cycle. The DSS Astronomical Book of Enoch refers only to the rising and setting points of the sun and moon on the horizon. They considered a flat earth measurement rather than a circular globe. The equinoxes are measured with a vertical line that connects the North and South Poles resulting in an approximately equal daylight and nighttime hours across the globe. Therefore, resulting in a different time keeping system.

Comparing the Zadokite Priestly courses with the book of Jubilees, Enoch, and the Scriptures we can now see that the Zadokite Priest did not see what we call the equinoxes today as the marker for the 3rd and 4th portals. They would have considered the (ot') sign of the of the sun and moon setting together in the 3rd and 4th portals. This would be the reason they made such an effort to record the moon cycles and portals the moon was traveling through.

Enoch 78:7 Tells us the moon becomes full according to the sign (ot') of the year.

This would be another reason they considered the sign of the full moon on the 4th day of the week starting with the 1st priestly course of Gamul the same as creation week with both the sun and moon starting in the 4th gate according to the sign of the year mentioned in Enoch 78:7 Showing Enoch is describing the 1st year cycle or a one-year cycle and not the whole calendar.

When comparing the years 2019 - 2024 that match with the Priestly courses we can now see how they stayed in line with the seasons as opposed to the world's view of when the seasons start and end. With 2019 being just as creation week aligning straight across the earth with the sun in Pisces and the full moon in Virgo. Then 3 years later the full moon shows up in the 4th gate along with the sun in Pisces and the full moon in Virgo on March 16th, 2022. Not adding any days or weeks and keeping the Priestly courses unbroken we get to the next 3rd year cycle with the 364th day ending on March 11,2025. The sign of the full moon in Virgo and the sun in Pisces shows up on March14th in the 4th gate according to Enoch and it's time to add the week and come back into line with the season and a start date of March 19, 2025 on the 4th day of the week.
